Ryan Buendia

Ryan Buendia aka DJ Replay makes up one third of the quietly prolific hit-making machine ‘Free School’. Replay began working with Free School in 2009, assisting artists such as The Black Eyed Peas, Benny Benassi, and Dizzee Rascal. In the summer of that same year, he received composition credit on The Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D., which attained Platinum status (or better, achieving Diamond status in France) in seventeen countries, and was nominated for six Grammys, winning the award for Best Pop Vocal Album. In December of 2009, Replay contributed to Chris Brown’s Graffiti, which peaked at number one on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts. Taking no time to slow down, Replay and Free School, cemented their legitimacy in the global music industry when they worked on The Black Eyed Peas’ next album, The Beginning, which achieved Platinum status in nine countries (again reaching Diamond standing in France) and Chris Brown’s multi platinum selling ‘Fame’, which they co-produced hit single “Look At Me Now” along side, Diplo and Afrojack.

Over the years, the hit-making conglomerate has branched out and collaborated with more artists, such as Kelis, Tulisa, Madonna, Dr. Dre, Lil Yachty, and Miley Cyrus. Currently, he has co-written and co-produced Doja Cat’s latest global chart topping single “Paint the Town Red.”
